All I'm going to say is the 1950s in American film were quite the wild ride of creativity coupled with really, REALLY bad special effects. As Americans, we had to deal with the Red Scare as well as impending nuclear holocaust. All of which was reflected in the films of the day. We started out exploring the universe, then film producers figured out it was cheaper to bring the aliens to bother us here on earth!
It was the time of rushed films with low budgets, movie gimmicks and really bad acting. These are some long almost lost and forgotten gems of classic cinema. I look forward to experiencing many of these again and some for the first time. Somebody turn on the stove eye and crank up the jiffy pop!

Just an example of how wonderfully cheesy and horrible these movies were. Of course most women already know what the title is trying to tell them...that Terror Is a Man!
But just look at the marketing claim here...
More Horrifying than Frankenstein!
More terrifying than Dracula!
That's some pretty big shoes to live up to...or...uh...you know what I mean.
